Company
History
Armesto's Transport is a family owned and
operated company established in 1972 by Manuel and Rosemary Armesto.
The focus on customer demand
increased the fleet in the late 1980’s. From there, the company expanded
into interstate transport in the early 1990’s as
line haul vehicles were acquired for overnight services between Brisbane
and Sydney. At this time Manuel and Rosemary’s daughter – Teresa began
employment.
Today she is General Manager
and is highly respected by both customers and drivers. Another of Manuel
and Rosemary’s daughters Julianne then joined the team a year later.
Another two daughters then joined the team Jenny in 1998 and Malisa in 1999.
The whole family works very
hard to ensure that the business remains successful and customer service
remains at a very high level.
The remaining daughter Nicole
runs a successful real estate business with her husband Laurie.
By the mid 1990’s our fleet
had expanded to 27 vehicles, operating between Brisbane,
Sydney, Melbourne
and Adelaide.
Today, Armesto's
Transport currently runs an increased fleet of over 166 prime movers and
more than 290 trailers throughout Queensland,
New South Wales, and Victoria.
We specialize in East coast Australia movements travelling from
Townsville to Melbourne
in all major cities in between.
Throughout our history,
customers have always been of upmost importance.
We pride ourselves on our
excellent customer service.
